Detox hype

Why does is became so popular? I don't know, but it is a real hype and I'm interested in it!
Well Detoxing is good for your body, it cleanses your body and give you a healthier way of living. Sometimes you can also lose weight of it and maybe you will enjoy making new recipes. You will get a better body odor, less skin aging, reduces stress and gives you a better resistance.

The down part of is that you probably spent more money grocery shopping, it can also be time consuming while cooking dinner and you can't drink coffee or a beer anymore.

Al lot of people are eating unhealthy, like eating/drinking coffee, alcohol, candy, cookies, gluten and a lot more stuff that our stomach can digest diffucultly. What leads to obesity, headaches, sleeping problems, stomach problems, tiredness and more. That's why we detox, to prevent these things and cleanse your body.

Detox doesn't mean you can't eat anything, you can eat a lot, but not the things you are not used to, what you do you allowed to eat while detoxing are:

-Beans
-Fruit
-Milk of a goat
-Cheese
-yoghurt made of goat-milk
-honey instead of Sugar
-Fish and Shellfish
- vegetables
-Fresh spices
-Gluten-free bread
-Nuts

Food and drinks you are not allowed to eat or to drink while detoxing are:

-Alcohol
-Bread with gluten
-Coffee
-Soda
-Eggs
-Foods with cow milk or drinking cow milk
-Sugar
-Pasta
-Meat
-Soy products
-White Rice

I think these two are the lists, personally I don't think I can do this, because I love pasta and I eat almost rice everyday. So for the ones who pushes themselves trough this, you earned my respect. The only things that I use are the detox-tea, apple cidervinegar and I'm trying to eat more vegetables instead of meat and alwats fresh vegetables. On the picture below you can see the detox-teas that I use, they are €3 something each. Drinking detox-tea is something what people do in India for ages, so worth to try right?

The right one from the brand clipper is having a really cute package and tastes better, haha! It tastes a little bit sour and it turns really red in water, because of the hibiscus in it. The other one is from a brand named Yogi and contains the traditional Indian recipe for detoxing tea with liquorice, anise, parsley, black pepper, tumeric ect. It taste really earthy and you tast the liquorice the most, because it's a real strong flavour.

I hope this was helpfull for you!
